Do you enjoy working with precision, modern measurement technology and components where quality really makes the difference? At HTM Aerotec in Hengelo, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a high-tech, clean production environment, where your measurements directly determine whether a product is approved for the aviation industry. As a Measurement Technician, you are the guardian of quality: with a critical eye, precision and attention to detail, you ensure that only top-quality products leave the premises.
HTM Aerotec stands for precision at the highest level. Here, you’ll be manufacturing products with micron-level accuracy for sectors including aviation and defence, serving customers worldwide. It’s a working environment where quality matters, technology presents challenges, and no two days are the same.
With state-of-the-art machinery, an informal atmosphere and a team where young talent and experience complement each other, HTM Aerotec offers you every opportunity to learn, take on responsibility and progress. A place where you work every day on smart technology and on your own development.
As a Measurement Technician, you work at the intersection of engineering and quality. You inspect complex precision components using advanced measuring equipment and 3D measuring machines. Using technical drawings, 3D models and customer specifications, you assess whether products meet the set requirements. You carefully record measurement results, identify deviations and coordinate these with production, quality and engineering.
No two days are the same: you switch between measuring, analysing and improving. You also contribute ideas on measurement methods, calibrations and optimising the quality process. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that every component meets the highest standards. In your work, you report progress and any issues to the team leader of the measurement room.
At HTM Aerotec, you’ll find yourself in an informal and supportive organisation where craftsmanship, trust and job satisfaction are paramount. Communication lines are short, colleagues are there for one another, and your opinion really counts. You’ll work day shifts as part of a close-knit team in an environment where the company invests not only in machinery but also in people. This gives you every opportunity to develop yourself further and advance in your profession.
The terms of employment are also excellent. You will be offered a contract with HTM Aerotec straight away, with the prospect of a permanent position, a salary commensurate with your age and experience, travel allowance and a good pension scheme through PMT. On top of that, you’ll receive 25 days’ holiday and 13 ATV days, plus opportunities for training, courses and additional tax benefits via the WKR scheme.
