As a CNC Turner, you will be involved in the production of a wide range of turned components as part of a team of experienced professionals. Working from technical drawings and work orders, you will set up and operate CNC lathes and monitor the entire machining process.
You will carefully check the dimensions and quality of products and make adjustments where necessary to achieve the correct tolerances. In addition, whilst you will work independently at your machine, you will also be in regular contact with colleagues in work planning, programming and production to ensure the process runs smoothly. You will also ensure that your machine and workstation remain in good condition and contribute ideas for process improvements.

The terms of employment are also excellent. You will be offered a contract with HTM UMI straight away, with the prospect of a permanent position, a salary commensurate with your age and experience, travel allowance and a good pension scheme through PMT.
